OUR COACHES

  • Coach

    Nathan joins the lads for his first season with Te Atatu AFC.

    Nathan has extensive coaching experience, most recently coaching in the Lotto NRFL first division.

    We’re stoked to have Nathan on board and him the best of luck for the 2023 season!

    Long-time club member Danny returns to the coaching team after leading the squad in past season’s in the NRF Conference and Lotto NRFL second division.

    We’re stoked to have him back on board & can’t wait to see what the season brings!

  • Rhys Caples

    Our golden boot Rhys Caples is a Te Atatu AFC clubman through and through.

    Attacking threat and last season’s golden boot, Rhys is keen to continue his success into this season.

  • Matt Chant

    New recruit Matt joins us for the 2023 season! Matt brings with him a wealth of playing experience with time in the NZ National League and OFC Champions League.

  • Liam Mulrooney

    Liam joins us for the 2023 season!

    An outstanding NZ National league player over 10 years, his playing career includes winning over 5 National League titles, 2 Oceania Champions League trophies and attending the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan in 2006 with Auckland City FC.

  • Jared Colligan

    We are super pleased and excited to welcome back to the club Jared Colligan. Jazz started his senior football at Te Atatu at aged 17 and last played for the club in 2007. Since then he has been at Three Kings Mt Albert and Bay Olympic where he has been a prolific goal scorer, scoring over 200 Northern league goals.

    Jazz has recently moved into the Peninsula with partner Lauren, and step daughter Haven. Welcome back to the TAT family, Jazz!

  • Han Hong-Gyu

    Han Hong-Gyu joins us from Bay Olympic to bolster our attacking threat this season.

    Prior to calling NZ home, Han played in the K-2 League, the second highest football division in South Korea.

  • Peter Norris

    Long term clubman Pete returns to the club for another season.

    A proven performer at any level, and fundamental in our Chatham cup success, Pete brings hard work, skill and leadership to the squad.

  • Joel Willets

    Our 2022 players player & player of the year, Joel Willetts returns for another season.

    A tough tackling and skilled player with a ferocious shot, Joel was Mr Versatile last year and was always one of our top performers.

  • Mitch Callaghan

    Our 2022 Most Promising Player Mitch Callaghan returns for his second season with the Senior Men’s side.

    Another Te Atatu Junior, we are stoked to see Mitch return to his roots!

  • Stu Roberts

    Mr Consistent Stu Roberts brings experience, leadership and hard work to the squad this year.
    An experienced player with composure and clear direction in the backline.
