RH3 Football Academy

An Exciting Partnership in Football Development

Te Atatū AFC have partnered with the Ricki Herbert Football Academy . The academy, founded in 2013 by former All Whites and Wellington Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert, has a number of talent centres in the North Island of New Zealand and works in partnership with clubs to provide structured development programmes for boys and girls aged 6+.

“Young players in west Auckland will have more opportunities to develop as footballers following a new partnership between Te Atatū AFC and the Ricki Herbert Football Academy”

The club and the RH3 academy will deliver the Te Atatu Development Programme for players aged 7-14 from Term 3, 2023. This will include:

  • Sunday afternoon sessions for young players

  • School holiday programmes.

Participation in the programme would open opportunities for Te Atatū players to attend the RHFA National Camps, at which more than 150 players gather each year. Players will also be able to take part in national and international tours organised by the academy.
