Marc Porter Reaches 100

Te Atatū AFC stalwart and Men’s First Team Captain, Marc Porter, celebrates his 100th appearances for Te Atatū AFC this weekend.

“Marc joined the club in 2006, straight from Massey High School and straight away we knew we had a talent! Marc had a few nicknames but Harry Potter stuck because of his name and bowl hair cut.”

Although he’s left a couple of times to pursue opportunities, Marc knows where his home is and is very proud to wear the Te Atatū AFC logo on his chest.

“We are very lucky to have had Porter for 100 games. He has played a big part of our clubs latest achievements.”

Of note, Marc was a huge part of our last 16 and best ever result in the Chatham Cup (2016), and last season he led our Men to promotion into the NRFL.

“Marc is our captain, he leads by example and is a great role model to the young lads”

The club is beyond proud and congratulations Marc on his 100th game.
— Dave Caples, President, Te Atatū AFC
